Food Capacity Building Sessions
The first ‘Blanching Vegetables’ sessions took place in September. Pictured here are some of the volunteers that prepared local beans to be packaged and frozen for distribution at the food bank. This is a small step towards a more sustainable model for our service.

Community Services will be closed November 1 for an all-day staff training event. Please note, due to training there will be no Parent-Tot Drop-In at Sechelt or Gibsons this Friday.
Congratulations to Eva Boese for receiving the Bhayana Family Foundation Dedication Award in recognition of her exemplary work with Sunshine Coast Community Services. Eva has worked at Community Services for over 25 years.
