At the Community Services Thrift store you can find all sorts of gems!

We are a social enterprise and not-for-profit and operate with the dedication of volunteers. Every dollar at our Thrift store goes directly toward supporting SCCSS programs and participants. Find incredible deals on new and gently used items, such as:

  • Clothing, footwear, handbags and fashion accessories
  • Books, records, CDs, DVDs
  • Small household appliances
  • Kitchenware
  • Family games, puzzles
  • Housewares, glassware, home decor.

Looking to donate?

We thank you for considering the volunteer time it requires to sort your donations and only donating items which are new/gently used, clean and in good condition.

Items we accept as donations

  • Gently used clothing, footwear, handbags and fashion accessories

  • Books, records, CDs, DVDs

  • Small household appliances ie: blenders, coffee-makers

  • Linens and towels

  • Dinner dishes, mugs, serving dishes, etc.

  • Family games, puzzles

  • Housewares, glassware, home decor

  • Soft furnishings

Community Services Thrift Store gladly accepts non-perishable donations for the Community Services Food Bank.

Items we DO NOT accept

Due to space limitations and safety regulations we are unable to accept:

  • Broken, damaged, dirty, needing repair, or otherwise unsaleable items
  • Large pieces of furniture or medical equipment
  • Cribs, high chairs, children’s toys

  • Appliances larger than a microwave (please recycle)
  • TVs, computers and accessories (please recycle)
  • Electrical components, cords, pieces and parts (please recycle)

Please note:

  • Donations accepted ONLY during store operation hours.
  • Clean, gently used or new items only.
