Update on new building project timeline

Our new building project timeline has been adjusted, with no impact to current services. Read the latest update.

We are currently experiencing a delay in the construction of our new building. This delay will extend the project timeline into 2027. At this time, we do not yet know how far into 2027 the delay will be, but we are actively working with our partners to better understand the impacts and revised schedule. Our programs and services continue as usual and are not impacted by this delay. As soon as we have more information, we will share it with you.

Despite this setback, we remain confident in our ability to successfully complete this project to a high standard. Community Services has a long history of delivering complex projects through strong oversight, thoughtful planning, and responsible risk management. That same diligence continues to guide this work.

Projects of this size and complexity can encounter challenges along the way. When issues arise, our approach is to address them promptly, work collaboratively with the appropriate experts, and make decisions that protect the long-term success of the project. While delays are disappointing, they are being managed carefully, and our commitment to creating a high-quality space that serves our community for years to come remains unchanged. We will continue to provide updates as the revised timeline becomes clearer.
