SCCSS is recruiting volunteer board members

Sunshine Coast Community Services Society (SCCSS) is seeking passionate, community-minded individuals to join our volunteer Board of Directors.

SCCSS supports people of all ages across the Sunshine Coast through programs and services for new parents, families, children, youth, adults, and seniors. We are interested in individuals with passion, enthusiasm, and experience in:
•    The non profit and community services sector
•    Fundraising, fund development, or strong community networks
•    Governance, leadership, and strategic thinking
•    Advocacy, social justice, and systems change
•    Community building and external relations

Prior Board experience is not required.

Board Term & Time Commitment
•    Board members serve a two-year term, beginning following the AGM in July 2026, with the opportunity to renew for up to four consecutive terms.
•    The Board meets once per month.
•    Board members are expected to participate on at least one committee and attend community and external events as needed 
•    Estimated time commitment: 8–15 hours per month, depending on committee involvement.
