Leaving a Legacy
The roof is up on our new home in downtown Sechelt, and now the community has the chance to be part of the legacy through naming opportunities.
With naming opportunities available for key spaces in the building, donors can create a lasting tribute while helping us close the final $4 million needed to open the doors by fall 2026.
This $36 million project will bring 35 affordable homes for women and children together with two floors of SCCSS programs. Thanks to the generosity of families, businesses, and community members, $32 million has already been raised. Rising construction costs have pushed the budget up from its original $34 million, and we are inviting the community to help finish what has already been a remarkable achievement.
Honouring Judi through a lasting gift
When Len Libin and his family made a $150,000 donation to our 50 Women for SCCSS campaign in memory of his wife Judi, it was more than a gift -it was a tribute to the warmth and care she shared with everyone she met.
The Early Years family support area of our new building will be named in honour of Judi, lovingly called “Bubs” by her 12 grandchildren. This welcoming space will offer connection, resources, and support to parents and caregivers with young children.
Judi’s name will live on in a place that helps families thrive. We are deeply grateful to the Libin family for this generous and meaningful gift.
