SCCSS is recruiting volunteer board members

Join our Board and make a difference! Sunshine Coast Community Services Society is seeking two new members to join our volunteer governance Board.

We are looking for people with passion, enthusiasm and interest in:

The non-profit community services sector
Learning and sharing leadership skills
Advocacy, social justice and system change
Building community networks
Creating an engaged, healthy and thriving coastal community

Do you have experience in accounting, fundraising, change management or in the realm of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI)? Do you have lived experiences that will bring unique perspectives and voices to the Board? Then we want to hear from you!!

Currently the Board meets once per month and consists of four committees. Board members commit to a two-year term beginning July 2024 with an opportunity to remain for a total of four (4) terms.
