Keeping People Housed Walk-In Sessions

Starting August 29, SCSSS will be holding drop-in information sessions every Wednesday afternoon for people interested in learning more about the Keeping People Housed program.

Keeping People Housed - Information SessionsKeeping People Housed is a loan program to help members of the community with unexpected and temporary crises for rental arrears or essential utilities and re-payment is made monthly through your bank account. The program is made possible in part from Sunshine Coast Credit Union, the Co-Operators and Sunshine Coast Community Services.

A pre-assessment is required to determine eligibility to proceed with an application package. To apply for the loan, documentation required includes proof of income, proof of I.D., proof of residency and a bank account. For those seeking resources and support for the Keeping People Housed program, walk-ins are welcome every Wednesday from 1pm - 3pm at our Inlet office (5638 Inlet Ave., Sechelt).
