Program Assistant: Better at Home
The Program Assistant with Better at Home will support the volunteer component of the program, bringing innovation and ideas to support the volunteers and build capacity with the supported seniors. This position will also work with the community and engage in a needs assessment along the coast in order to provide the best service possible for isolated seniors. This position covers the whole coast and reports to the Lead, Better at Home.
What Does it Take to be the Program Assistant?
You have prior experience with program planning, evaluation, and reporting, and the ability to recruit, train, and work with volunteers. You are experienced working with seniors and understand the issues facing the aging population, particularly in a rural setting. You are willing and able to work flexible hours, which may include some evening and weekend work.
