Family Resource Worker

The Family Resource Worker works within the Bellies and Babies and Parent-Tot programs supporting parents and caregivers with children from birth to six years old. The Family Resource Worker is part of a team who provides a safe and welcoming environment for families and promotes healthy pregnancies to improve maternal outcomes. The Family Resource Worker creates a safe and stimulating play and learning environment suitable for the diverse developmental needs of children ages birth to six and provides hands-on support and information that will assist parents and caregivers to enhance their parenting skills and nurture their relationship with their child/children. The Family Resource Worker reports to the Program Lead.


What Does It Take to be the Family Resource Worker? You have experience working with families with young children and both pre-and-postnatal women. You are knowledgeable about nutrition, infant development, breastfeeding, and pregnancy issues.
