Are you a former staff, community member or volunteer with stories to share? We are seeking your stories of impact, memories of significant events and photographs to include in our archives and celebration timeline!

Do you remember Community Services in the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, or 2010s? Come and help us tell the story of Community Services through the last six decades. 

We will collect and share your contributions during our special celebration event, Roots, Branches, Seeds of Change - the story of Community Services, on September 15.

How to share your story

  1. Join our storytellers’ circle on Wednesday, August 24, from 10:00 -11:30 am at 5638 Inlet Avenue and help us build our timeline across the years of service. If you would like to attend or volunteer to help catalogue information gathered at this event, call 604-885-5881 or email:

  2. Drop off your story, memory or photographs with descriptions in our specially marked Story Box at SCCSS, 5638 Inlet Avenue, Sechelt. Be sure to include your contact details so we can keep you updated!
