Food Bank Extends Hours

The Sunshine Coast Food Bank extended its hours to assist those who faced challenges in getting to the food bank during scheduled distribution times.

In our fast paced world, there are times when community members need support yet are unable to receive it due to time constraints. Many people work day jobs and can not take time away from work or find a care giver to take care of loved ones so they can utilize the food bank during its scheduled distribution hours.

The Sunshine Coast Food Bank, as of April 4, 2018, is open from 4:30pm to 6:30pm every Wednesday. This is in addition to the usual scheduled distribution times of Tuesday and Wednesday between 11am and 1pm.
