Community Services Thrift Store update
Community Services Thrift Store has reopened and we are seeking volunteers to join our team! Thanks to our amazing volunteers we are opening the store to visitors on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10 am to 2 pm starting Thursday, November 5th.
We have been working hard to get the store ready and ensure safety plans are in place to welcome back our beloved community!
We are now open 3 days a week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) from 10 am to 2 pm. Donations will be accepted during these times only, with a two small-bag limit per donor. Please note: MASKS ARE MANDATORY! Please wear your mask and follow Covid-19 protocols to enter and enjoy the store experience. There will be a 10 customer limit and a one hour maximum visit, with screening and sanitizing prior to entry.

Do you have retail or customer service experience (or a desire to learn and grow these skills)? Are you interested in supporting store operations?
We need people to help with sorting donations, merchandising, cash handling, housekeeping and inventory maintenance. If you would like to volunteer as a store greeter, connect with the community and help with our COVID-19 health and safety procedures, we have a placement for you!
“Family volunteering” is welcome if you and your child would like to volunteer together. Volunteering with SCCSS is a meaningful way to give back, connect with the community, share ideas and have fun together.
To register as a volunteer - please contact Andrea Hobbs for more info on how to sign up and complete your criminal record check. Email ahobbs@sccss.ca or call 604-865-0283.
