Victim Service Worker, Police Based Victim Services - Together Against Violence Team

Regular part-time position, 24 hours per week, plus holiday coverage

The Together Against Violence Team at Community Services provides safety and support for those impacted by all forms of violence and trauma. We help our clients rebuild their lives and establish positive connections in the community by offering, advocacy and assistance with the justice system with non-judgmental emotional and practical support.

What does it take to be a Victim Service Worker in Police Based Victim Services? You understand and have experience with providing direct support services to crime and trauma victims, witnesses and their families. You are prepared to support the program Lead with the daily operations of the Victim Services office by providing crisis intervention, emotional support, information and referrals at the scene or by phone.
