Program Lead, Yew Transition House


The Lead, Yew Transition House oversees the day-to-day operations of Yew Transition House and creates an environment where women and children residents are supported and have access to programming to support their goals. The Lead reports to the Manager, Together Against Violence.


What Does it Take to be the Program Lead, Yew Transition House?

You have a post-secondary degree in counseling, social work, or social service field, plus three years of related experience or the equivalent of experience and education, and two years of staff-supervision or program management experience.  You have experience working effectively and in a non-judgmental manner with clients from a variety of diverse backgrounds. You are knowledgeable of the dynamics of violence against marginalized individuals, including indigenous women and children.
