Food Bank Worker

Regular part-time, 28 hours per week

The Food Bank provides healthy and nutritious emergency food for those living on the Sunshine Coast.

What does it take to be a food bank worker at the Food Bank? You must believe in improving people’s ability to access healthy food in a dignified way. The Food Bank worker needs to bring a strength-based and capacity building approach in service delivery.  You need to be self-motivated, willing to learn and have the ability to work collaboratively with volunteers and as well as be a support to participants that attend the food bank.

If you are passionate about supporting individuals and families, advocating for good food for all, have 1 year experience in food programming, experience working with volunteers and possess a post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent education consider applying for this exciting opportunity to make a significant difference in our community. Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
