Family Support Worker - Thyme Second Stage

Regular part-time position, 20 hours per week. $27.09/hour BCGEU. This position requires union membership.

The Together Against Violence Team at Community Services provides programs that support people whose lives have been impacted by violence and trauma. Programs provide crisis intervention, shelter, counselling, advocacy and non-judgmental emotional and practical support. Thyme Second Stage Program provides housing, support, and advocacy for women and children who have experienced violence and who can benefit from additional support to rebuild their lives and connect to community.

What does it take to be a Family Support Worker at Thyme Second Stage? We are seeking a non-judgmental individual with a knowledge of trauma-informed practices.  A post-secondary degree in a related field an asset, or equivalent in education and experience. This position requires union membership. This position requires a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
