Child and Youth Care Intervention

Child and Youth Care Intervention Workers provide specific services of a short-term nature to families, children and youth who are having particular difficulties coping as a result of social and/or emotional problems, developmental delays, physical or mental handicaps.

Services provided include crisis intervention, behaviour management, supervised visits, and life skills training, either on a one-to-one basis or within a group environment.

Referrals are made by MCFD – Ministry of Child & Family Development
